Boxing World Title Fights 2026 (Oct–Dec): Japanese Boxers, Japan Times and Where to Watch
Two Japanese boxers have world title fights booked for October to December 2026: Tomoki Kameda on 18 October and Miyo Yoshida on 9 November (Japan time, as of 24 September).
Tomoki Kameda (TMK Gym) challenges WBA featherweight champion Brandon Figueroa in Las Vegas on Sunday 18 October Japan time, streamed on DAZN. Miyo Yoshida challenges WBC women's super bantamweight champion Skye Nicolson in Arlington, Texas, on Monday 9 November Japan time. This page lists only fights officially announced as of 24 September 2026, in Japan Standard Time (JST), and adds the overseas world title fights that are scheduled to stream in Japan on DAZN.
Everything below is as of 24 September 2026. We checked each fight against the promoter (PBC, MVP, Matchroom, Queensberry) or the boxer's gym, and against the fight calendar and TV/streaming listings of Boxing Mobile (boxmob.jp), a Japanese boxing news site. Fights get postponed or changed because of injuries, so check the official pages again before fight night.

These are the only fights involving Japanese boxers on Boxing Mobile's monthly world title lists (October, November, December; checked 24 September 2026). The December list has no world title fight involving a Japanese boxer and none held in Japan. We will add year-end fights to this table when they are announced.
Tomoki Kameda vs Brandon Figueroa (18 October, Las Vegas)
The promoter, Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), says the show starts at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on Saturday 17 October, which is 09:00 JST on Sunday 18 October. The venue is The Chelsea, inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The main event is WBC super welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora against his mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj, and Figueroa vs Kameda is the co-main event. No start time has been announced for the bout itself.

- What is at stake: a win would make Kameda a three-division world champion, the ninth Japanese man to do it (Boxing Mobile)
- How to watch: Kameda's gym, TMK Boxing Gym, announced the fight will be shown live worldwide on DAZN. In the US it is on TNT and DAZN (PBC). Boxing Mobile's listings also show it on DAZN on 18 October, time to be confirmed
Figueroa won his current title on 7 February 2026 in Liverpool, stopping then-champion Nick Ball by TKO in round 12 (PBC fight record; see TKO vs KO for what a TKO means). Ball moves up a division to fight for a world title in December (see the table below).
Miyo Yoshida vs Skye Nicolson (9 November, Arlington)
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced the fight as part of MVPW-07, a women's card with four world title fights at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday 8 November local time. ESPN's US telecast starts at 8:30pm ET, which is 10:30 JST on Monday 9 November (converted from MVP's announcement). The main event is IBF lightweight champion Elif Nur Turhan vs Alycia Baumgardner.
- Title: WBC women's super bantamweight world title, a defence for champion Nicolson (MVP)
- Records: Nicolson 16-1, Yoshida 19-5 (MVP event page; Boxing Mobile's fight page shows the same numbers)
- Miyo Yoshida: MVP calls her a three-time, two-division world champion. Per Boxing Mobile, a win would make her a three-division world champion
- Background: the fight was first set for August and was postponed when Nicolson was injured (Fox Sports, 25 August). Nicolson boxed for Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and was elevated to full WBC champion in May when Ellie Scotney vacated the title (same source)
- Watching in Japan: no Japanese broadcast or stream had been confirmed as of 24 September 2026, and the fight was not in Boxing Mobile's TV/streaming listings

- 11 October, Chicago: a Golden Boy and MVP co-promotion that MVP says will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN. The flyweight world title fight planned for the same show, champion Ricardo Sandoval vs Oscar Collazo, has been postponed after Collazo injured his ribs in training (WBC, 21 September). No new date had been announced as of 25 September 2026
- 25 October, Sheffield: the promoter Matchroom lists the bout as the "WBC World Super Lightweight Title". Boxing Mobile's listings call it lightweight; we follow the promoter
- 20 December, Belfast: announced by the promoter Queensberry. Ball is the former WBA featherweight champion who lost to Figueroa in February, and this world title fight is one division up, at super featherweight
Queensberry has also announced that the WBO heavyweight title rematch between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley at The O2 in London on 17 October (local date) will be live on DAZN. As of 24 September 2026, however, Boxing Mobile's listings did not show a stream in Japan.

When a promoter publishes only US or UK local times, use these offsets. Japan does not use daylight saving time.

UK summer time ends on 25 October and US daylight saving time ends on 1 November. For example, the Kameda show starts at 8pm ET on 17 October, so 09:00 JST on 18 October. The US telecast of the Yoshida fight starts at 8:30pm ET on 8 November (standard time), so 10:30 JST on 9 November.

- For overseas fights, we list only those that Boxing Mobile's TV/streaming listings show as broadcast or streamed in Japan
