RISE.201 took place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on 29 August 2026. In the main event — the RISE light heavyweight (-90kg) title fight — champion Kenta Nanbara (TARGET SHIBUYA) knocked out challenger Gunther Kalunda (DR Congo / ReBORN Setagaya) with a right hook at 1:39 of round three, making the first defence of the title he won in August 2023.
Kalunda had spent fight week goading the champion. In the ring the two traded heavily until Nanbara's right hand ended it. "Everyone, let's do our best starting tomorrow. I'm taking a week off," Nanbara said afterwards.
