Biography
Taiju Shiratori, nicknamed "The Prince," is a versatile Japanese striker who has competed across Muay Thai, professional boxing and kickboxing. Born in Tokyo and debuting in 2011, he won the 2013 WPMF Japan Super Featherweight Muay Thai title and posted an 8-3 professional boxing record before becoming a RISE star.
In 2019 he captured the RISE Lightweight (-63kg) Championship and won the RISE World Series tournament, and in 2021 he won the RIZIN KICK tournament. Combat Press once ranked him the world's #1 bantamweight.
In March 2025 at RISE El Dorado, Shiratori defeated Yutaro Asahi to claim the vacant RISE Super Lightweight (-65kg) title, adding another division to his resume. A southpaw with a karate and Muay Thai base, he blends crisp technique with a deep multi-sport toolkit. His career kickboxing record stands at 33-13-1.
