Biography
Valentina "Bullet" Shevchenko is one of the most technically refined fighters in MMA and the dominant force at women's flyweight. Born in Kyrgyzstan and a lifelong Muay Thai practitioner, she pairs surgical counter-striking with strong wrestling and submissions.
She first won the UFC flyweight title in 2018 and built a record reign, before reclaiming the belt in 2024 in a trilogy with Alexa Grasso. Her career résumé includes a long list of title defenses and wins over the division's best.
Shevchenko continued her dominance in 2025: she outpointed Manon Fiorot at UFC 315 in May, then thoroughly outclassed strawweight champion Zhang Weili in a champion-vs-champion superfight at UFC 322 on November 15, 2025, moving to 26-4-1.
As of June 2026 she remains the UFC women's flyweight champion and a pound-for-pound mainstay, with Natalia Silva lined up as a likely next challenger.
