Report
TREASURE BOXING PROMOTION 13 took place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. In the main event — a vacant WBO Asia-Pacific light-flyweight title bout — Yuhi Ozaki stopped Jerry Francisco (Philippines) on a corner retirement at the end of Round 6, reclaiming the belt he first won in December 2024 and had since relinquished.
In the co-feature, Japan super-welterweight champion Yasuomi Soda made the first defense of the title he won in March, out-pointing challenger Junpei Tsujimoto on scores of 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92. It was Tsujimoto's first-ever title shot after 12 years as a pro.
The card's biggest upset came one bout earlier: OPBF Oriental & Pacific No. 1-ranked super-middleweight Koki Taison was dropped and counted out in Round 3 (2:57) by South Korea's Dong-woo Kim.
On the undercard, Kokoa Taguchi — the first female pro boxer signed by KODLAB, the gym run by former WBA world champion Takayoshi Uchiyama — won her professional debut by TKO in Round 6 (0:32) over the Philippines' Renz Dackel. Two East Japan Rookie King tournament bouts also went ahead: Kensei Onoue outpointed Kazuki Hinata 3-0 at super featherweight, and Tatsuya Takagi Gittichai stopped Negoro in Round 1 (2:53) at featherweight.
