Biography
Chihiro Suzuki is a hard-hitting Japanese fighter who has competed in both MMA and professional kickboxing, training out of Crosspoint Kichijoji. He is known for his aggressive, striking-led style.
Suzuki broke through in RIZIN, defeating Vugar Karamov to win the RIZIN Featherweight Championship in November 2023, then defending it once. He lost the title to submission ace Kleber Koike Erbst by decision on New Year's Eve 2024.
His 2025 was difficult: he dropped a split decision in March and then lost to popular star Mikuru Asakura by third-round TKO (doctor stoppage) on May 4, 2025, leaving his MMA record at 13-6 (1 NC).
As of June 2026 he is a former champion looking to rebuild in RIZIN's deep featherweight division.
