Career

He turned professional as a kickboxer on the J-NETWORK circuit in May 2016, won that promotion's welterweight rookie title the same year and its welterweight championship in August 2017. On 17 November 2018 he beat Daiki Watabe by unanimous five-round decision (50-45, 50-44, 50-44) to become the second RISE welterweight champion, defended the belt once against Hideki at RISE 137 on 23 February 2020, and vacated it in February 2022. In karate he won the lightweight division of the 35th All-Japan Weight-Class Karate Championships in 2018. His MMA debut came against Satoshi "Dominator" Yamasu at RIZIN.28 on 13 June 2021, and BOUTREVIEW reports he has concentrated on MMA since the end of 2022. He now fights out of American Kickboxing Academy (AKA); BOUTREVIEW dates that move to "late 2024". He put together four straight wins across RIZIN.46, RIZIN.47, LFA 208 and LFA 213, was knocked out by Tatsuya Saika on New Year's Eve 2025, and stopped Bilal Kai Haga 10 seconds into round two at RIZIN LANDMARK 14 on 6 June 2026.

The Super RIZIN.5 bout

RIZIN's official card page has Beynoa opening the show against Hide Mason Usami under "RIZIN open-finger-glove kickboxing rules: 3 x 3 min (71.0 kg)". BOUTREVIEW describes the ruleset as open-finger gloves with no elbows and a one-catch-one-attack limit. It is Beynoa's first appearance under kickboxing rules in roughly four years and three months, since THE MATCH 2022 in June 2022. RIZIN's own preview describes Usami as unbeaten in 11 fights and a holder of ISKA and RISE titles, and multiple outlets report that he is the younger brother of Sho Patrick Usami, who knocked Beynoa out in the first round at RIZIN.40 on 31 December 2022.

What could not be confirmed

His stance is not treated as settled here: RISE's official profile says switch, while K-1's official profile says orthodox — two promotion-official sources that disagree. His birthplace is given as California by every official profile, but the city differs by source (Sherdog says Torrance), so no city is stated. The exact date, opponent and finish of his J-NETWORK welterweight title win are not documented by promotion-official sources. K-1's listed kickboxing record of 22 bouts, 18-4 (9 KO), appears to be an older figure that does not include the June 2022 loss to Hiroumi Wajima.

The record and career of Hide Mason Usami are covered in that fighter's own profile.
