Natasha Kuziutina “Kuzya”

Natasha Kuziutina is a Russian fighter who won bronze in the women's -52kg judo division at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics before turning to mixed martial arts in November 2022. Her professional MMA record stands at 10-1 as of 8 September 2026, built on judo throws and a first-round armbar. On 10 September she faces RENA at Super RIZIN.5 in Kyocera Dome Osaka.

All four of her submission wins are armbars. Her only defeat came by unanimous decision to Fatima Kline at Invicta FC 52 in March 2023; she has won nine straight since. Her most recent bout was her RIZIN debut on 12 April 2026 at RIZIN LANDMARK 13 in Fukuoka, where she submitted former RIZIN women's super atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki with an armbar at 4:55 of round one, per RIZIN's official result page.

Career

Born 8 May 1989 in Bryansk, Russia, she is 37. In judo she represented Russia at -52kg, adding silver at the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo and bronze at the 2010, 2014 and 2017 Worlds to her Rio medal, and winning the European Championships in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2018 (JudoInside). ENCOUNT reports that she met Uta Abe in the 2019 world final.

She made her professional MMA debut on 18 November 2022 on the Gamebred Boxing 3 card, submitting Desiree Bennett with a first-round armbar. On 15 December 2023 she beat Giovanna Canuto by unanimous decision at LFA 173 to take the LFA women's strawweight interim title, then defended it twice in 2024 — against Bruna Ellen at LFA 189 and Yasmin Guimaraes at LFA 197. She trains at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida.

At Super RIZIN.5

The bout is set for 10 September 2026 at Kyocera Dome Osaka against RENA, contracted at 49.0kg under RIZIN MMA rules over three five-minute rounds.

Its status is worth stating precisely. RIZIN's own announcement says the women's super atomweight title is vacant after Seika Izawa relinquished it, and that RENA vs. Kuziutina is a first-round eliminator in the tournament to fill it — not the vacant-title bout itself, which the promotion has scheduled for 31 December 2026. MMAPLANET reports the matchup the same way.

Kuziutina called for a title shot after LANDMARK 13 (eFight), and Osaka is the first step on that path. Her reach and any striking-specific measurements have not been published by the promotion.
