Biography
Petr "No Mercy" Yan is a two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion and one of the division's most technical strikers. A pro since 2014, the Russian fights with relentless volume, sharp body work and elite octagon control.
He won the vacant bantamweight title in 2020 and built a résumé that includes wins over José Aldo, Deiveson Figueiredo and others. After a rocky stretch of narrow decision losses, he rebuilt with a measured, technical approach and returned to the top.
At UFC 323 in December 2025 he avenged an earlier defeat by outpointing Merab Dvalishvili over five rounds to reclaim the bantamweight title — becoming a two-time champion. His pressure-based boxing and pace make him a problem for anyone at 135 pounds.
As of June 2026 he is 20-5 and the reigning UFC Bantamweight Champion.
