A note on names. Names follow RIZIN's Japanese results list. Bout numbers are RIZIN's own. RIZIN does not label a main event, so this article calls the closing fight "bout 10". Judges' scorecards are not published on the official list and are not reproduced here.

Bout 10: Horie finishes Usami after the contract moves to 72.65kg

The bout was made at 71.0kg. According to RIZIN's notice of 2 October, the Usami camp raised the contracted weight at the official weigh-in, the two camps conferred, and under RIZIN MMA rules the contract was changed to 72.65kg with the bout held under normal rules. Gong Kakutogi and kakutolog report that Usami was 1.65kg over. Horie, fighting in his home prefecture, won by referee stoppage from ground punches at 3:37 of round 2.

Bout 9: Kolesnik needs 20 seconds of round 2

Viktor Kolesnik stopped Koyomi Matsushima with kicks on the ground 20 seconds into round 2. The official record reads "TKO (referee stoppage: kicks on the ground)"; Gong Kakutogi describes the finish as a soccer kick.

The cancellation and the weight misses

  • Bout 6, マック・パパリイ vs. 赤沢幸典, was cancelled. The original opponent, アルブリー・ンジャイ, was withdrawn on doctor's orders after abnormal blood-test results and 赤沢幸典 stepped in at short notice, but 赤沢 injured his knee in training the night before the weigh-in and the medical check ruled him out (RIZIN notices, 30 September and 2 October). RIZIN said the bout order was otherwise unchanged.
  • 山本聖悟 (bout 2) missed weight by 100g. He received one yellow card (one-point deduction) and the bout would count as an official result only if ヤマニハ won. ヤマニハ won by kneebar, so the result stands.
