Biography
Tatiana Suarez is one of the most feared wrestlers in women's MMA, a former Olympic-level grappler whose suffocating top game has carried her to the brink of a title. A pro since 2016, she overcame serious injuries — including multiple surgeries — to return to the elite.
Suarez built a long unbeaten run before challenging strawweight champion Zhang Weili at UFC 312 in February 2025, losing a competitive unanimous decision in her only career defeat.
She bounced straight back, submitting Loopy Godinez by second-round rear-naked choke at UFC 327 on April 11, 2026 to move to 12-1 and re-establish herself as the top uncrowned contender at 115 pounds.
As of June 2026 she sits among the very best strawweights, angling for another title shot against champion Mackenzie Dern.
