The next card

UFC 331 is the next numbered event: Saturday 19 September 2026 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles — Sunday 20 September in Japan. Flyweight champion Joshua Van defends against Alexandre Pantoja, the man he took the belt from. Full card and Japan-time detail: UFC 331: Van vs Pantoja 2.

All information below is as of 17 August 2026 and comes from UFC's own event pages. Cards move — fighters withdraw, bouts are added — so treat the card as a snapshot and the date and venue as the firm part.

Latest result — UFC 330

Islam Makhachev def. Ian Machado Garry, unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) — 15 August 2026, Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia (16 August JST). Garry made him work for it, conceding seven takedowns but marking up the champion's face. In the co-main, Mackenzie Dern def. Gillian Robertson by unanimous decision to defend the women's strawweight title. Card page: UFC 330: Makhachev vs Machado Garry.

UFC 331 — Van vs Pantoja 2 (19 September, Los Angeles)

The rematch exists because the first fight ended before it started. At UFC 323 on 6 December 2025, Van took the flyweight title from Pantoja by TKO at 0:26 of round one, after an arm injury — 26 seconds is not an answer to anything, which is why this one was made. Co-main is Arman Tsarukyan vs Mauricio Ruffy over five rounds at lightweight. Full card →

UFC 332 — Salt Lake City (3 October)

Date and building are locked: the Delta Center, Salt Lake City. The card is not. UFC's own event page still reads "TBD vs TBD" as of 17 August 2026, so anyone publishing a UFC 332 main event today is guessing. We will fill this in when UFC does.

UFC 333 — Volkanovski vs Evloev, Abu Dhabi (24 October)

UFC's year returns to the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with a featherweight title match between Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev. For Japanese viewers this is the friendliest card of the autumn: a Gulf start time lands in the JST small hours rather than mid-morning.

The Shanghai exception (29 August)

Nurmagomedov vs Song at the Oriental Sports Center is the one card on this list that does not cost you a Sunday morning: an Asian card runs in the JST evening, and the local and Japanese dates are the same. Japanese fighters coming through Road to UFC tend to appear on these. See UFC Shanghai.

Reading the Japan start times

Japan is UTC+9 and does not observe daylight saving, so the offset does the work:

US periodOffsetMain card lands in Japan
US daylight time (mid-Mar–early Nov)JST = ET + 13hSunday morning
US standard time (early Nov–mid-Mar)JST = ET + 14hSunday late morning

A main card announced for 22:00 Saturday US Eastern starts 11:00 Sunday JST in the US summer. Don't memorise a fixed hour — UFC moves published start times per card. Apply +13 or +14 to the time on that card's page, and remember the Japanese date is one day later than the US date.

Watching from Japan

The Japanese route is U-NEXT, named by UFC as its distribution partner in Japan through 2031; the Paramount+ change you may have read about is a United States arrangement and does not apply here. Costs, what UFC Fight Pass is actually for, and the full time-zone table are in How to Watch UFC in Japan.

FAQ

When is the next UFC numbered event?
UFC 331 on Saturday 19 September 2026 in Los Angeles — Sunday 20 September in Japan. Joshua Van defends the flyweight title against Alexandre Pantoja in a rematch.
What is the UFC 332 card?
Not announced yet. As of 17 August 2026 UFC's own event page for UFC 332 still shows "TBD vs TBD". The date and venue are set: Saturday 3 October 2026 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City (Sunday 4 October in Japan).
Where is UFC 333?
At the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday 24 October 2026 (Sunday 25 October in Japan). UFC lists Alexander Volkanovski vs Movsar Evloev as the main event, a featherweight title match.
Who won UFC 330?
Islam Makhachev beat Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) on 15 August 2026 in Philadelphia to retain the welterweight title. It was his 17th consecutive UFC win, one clear of Anderson Silva's benchmark.
What time do these cards start in Japan?
Japan has no daylight saving, so JST runs 13 hours ahead of US Eastern from March to November and 14 hours ahead after that. A US Saturday-night main card therefore lands on Sunday morning JST. Cards held in Asia, such as the Shanghai Fight Night, run in the evening JST instead.
How do I watch UFC in Japan?
Through U-NEXT, which UFC named as its Japanese distribution partner through 2031. The Paramount+ switch covers the United States, not Japan.
