Biography
Etinosa Godwin Oliha was born June 13, 1998, in Turin, Italy, and turned professional in May 2018. Fighting almost exclusively away from home, the compact pressure-fighter known as “El Chapo” built his unbeaten record by collecting titles on the road: the Italian middleweight championship in 2020, then the WBO Inter-Continental strap in 2023.
His breakthrough came in July 2023, outpointing Julio Alamos for the vacant IBO middleweight world title and defending it once against Faton Vukshinaj that November. He added the IBF International middleweight title in April 2024 with a unanimous decision over Ismael Seck, then stopped Alexander Pavlov in the third round that September.
The IBF vacated its middleweight title after stripping Janibek Alimkhanuly for a failed pre-fight drug test, and Oliha was ordered into a final eliminator against Ireland's Aaron McKenna — the two unbeaten fighters meet for the belt on August 8, 2026, in Dublin.
