Biography
Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez is one of boxing's brightest young stars — an undefeated, three-division world champion who fights with rare polish and volume for his age. A pro since 2017 out of San Antonio under Robert Garcia, the southpaw took a short-notice title shot at super flyweight in 2022 and ran with it.
He unified the super flyweight division with a series of standout wins, including a stoppage of Phumelele Cafu and a tenth-round knockout of Fernando Martinez in a 2025 unification in Riyadh. Outgrowing 115 pounds, he moved up and won a vacant WBA bantamweight title by knocking out Antonio Vargas in June 2026 to become a three-division champion before his mid-20s.
Rodriguez blends slick footwork, body punching and a sharp left hook, finishing fights when the opening appears.
As of June 2026 he is 24-0 (17 KOs) and the WBA bantamweight champion.
