Career
Nomura turned professional at 23, beating Keigo Maeda by decision at GRACHAN 50 on September 4, 2021. He then built his career in DEEP: after dropping a decision to Kimihiro Eto in July 2023, he avenged it by outpointing then-champion Eto at DEEP 121 IMPACT on September 16, 2024 to become the 13th DEEP lightweight champion.
He debuted in RIZIN at RIZIN.50 on March 30, 2025, taking a technical decision over Luiz Gustavo, and followed it with a 3-0 decision over former Bellator lightweight champion Patricky Pitbull at Super RIZIN.4 on July 27, 2025.
That win earned him a RIZIN lightweight title shot against Roberto Satoshi Souza, but a left orbital floor fracture suffered against Patricky forced him out of RIZIN.51 on September 28 and Kyoji Horie replaced him as challenger, according to BOUTREVIEW.
