Born May 31, 1996 in Fujimi, Saitama. He stands 173 cm with a 171 cm reach and fights from an orthodox stance (RIZIN and RISE official profiles), under the nickname "King of Street Fight". He has campaigned mainly in RISE since 2018, and on August 26, 2023 at "ABEMA presents RISE WORLD SERIES 2023 2nd Round" (Ota City General Gymnasium, Tokyo) he knocked out Hiroto Yamaguchi with a right hook at 1:05 of round two to become the inaugural RISE Open Finger Glove Match -65 kg champion. RISE's official champions list still shows him as the reigning titleholder, and RISE's official rankings place him fourth at super lightweight (-65 kg) as of writing. On November 19, 2023 he knocked out Mikuru Asakura at 1:17 of round one under kickboxing rules at FIGHT CLUB (-70 kg, 3 min x 3R).
He debuted in MMA on May 6, 2023 at RIZIN.42 under RIZIN's special MMA rules (two five-minute rounds), stopping Kota Miura by TKO at 3:13 of round one. He then lost unanimous decisions to Ren Hiramoto at RIZIN.45 and to Karshyga Dautbek at RIZIN DECADE (RIZIN.49), but knocked out Hiroaki Suzuki at 3:28 of round one at Super RIZIN.3 on July 28, 2024, and stopped Masanori Kanehara at 2:51 of round three at Super RIZIN.4 (Saitama Super Arena) on July 27, 2025 — a comeback finish after dropping the first two rounds, as reported by eFight. Kanehara announced his retirement in the ring immediately afterwards.
The Super RIZIN.5 bout
The Saito fight is a rebooking. RIZIN announced on December 26, 2025 that YA-MAN had withdrawn from his New Year's Eve bout — and that the fight was cancelled — after fracturing his left orbital floor in boxing sparring, an injury that required emergency surgery and a four-to-six month recovery. No 2026 appearance has since been entered in RIZIN's official bout history for him, so September 10 is his first fight in roughly 13 and a half months.
